Apprenticeships Earn While You Learn

While enrolled in one of our apprenticeship programs, students can acquire marketable skills and college credit in a variety of in-demand work disciplines while being given the opportunity to earn wages. As they progress through the program, they will have the chance to network with industry professionals and build connections that can open doors to exciting career possibilities.

South Texas College Center for Advanced Training & Apprenticeships is a registered U.S. Department of Labor Apprenticeship Sponsor, providing individuals with a comprehensive range of opportunities to acquire industry-specific knowledge and hands-on experience. This partnership allows South Texas College to develop and offer registered programs in many disciplines.

Registered Apprenticeships

Registered Apprenticeships (RAPS) are an industry-driven, high-quality career pathway where employers can develop and prepare their future workforce, and individuals can obtain paid work experience, receive progressive wage increases, classroom instruction and a portable, nationally recognized credential.
